Day 2: Vientiane City Tour – Fly to Luang Prabang (B
Today we will explore Vientiane- the charming and fascinating capital of Laos, one of the classic Indo Chinese cities which conjure up exotic images, with its intriguing mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, American and Soviet influences. Our visit will take you to the key sites: Wat Sisaket the city ‘s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past, the next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. This large temple is beautiful both interior and exterior, it was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha in courtyards filled with frangible trees.

In the afternoon a stop at the older part of Morning market is recommended before the visit Pha That Luang. The giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane.
In the late afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Welcome on arrival and transfer to a local restaurant to have dinner. Check in your hotel and overnight in Vientiane

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – City Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will take the cruise along a Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, where you will discover gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes nestled deep in the limestone caverns.
Embark on a cultural tour of Luang Prabang in the afternoon, you will explore the gilded temples such as Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Senna dotted across the city.
The rest of the day we will visit The Royal Palace (official name “Haw Kham”) which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family
Before sunset, ascend the 328 steps to the top of Phou Si Mountain that offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding rivers and cityscape before wandering through the bustling Hill tribe Market for traditional textiles and handicrafts made by the hill tribes.

Day 4: Luang Prabang Alms giving – City Tour – Kuang Sii Falls (B)
For early risers, alms giving ceremony is good chance to learn about local culture. We suggest you enjoy the sunrise at the crossroads in town around 05.00 when you will also see monks in saffron robes from Luang Prabang’s many temples walking in long silent processions searching for offerings left to them by the faithful.
Then, gain a deeper understanding of Lao culture at Wat Visoun with its iconic Watermelon Stupa and Wat Aham with the altar of Luang Prabang’s two respected geniuses.
Afterwards, you will visit the morning Phosi Market is by far the biggest market in Luang Prabang. Three quarters of it is covered, there are several hundred merchants of all kinds proposing a large variety of products. You can find there vegetable gardeners as well as small stalls selling clothes (always in the Chinese style), merchants for health products, dried buffalo skin, local tea, school materials, hardware, etc.
Then we drive to Khuang Sy waterfall on a return journey of around 70km. The road is bordered by villages and rice fields. You will stop in some of these villages and relax at the waterfall. You can swim in the waterfall which scatters into many basins.
